Long-term Follow-up Results in Diabetes Mellitus

Abstract
|
|
|
We have observed 125 diabetic patients regularly over 5 to 12 years who were registered to the diabetic clinic of Seoul National University Hospital from 1955 to 1967 and the following results were obtained.
1) The total diabetic patients were 125,79 males and 46 females. And most of the patients were between 40 to 60 years old.
2) Improvement was observed in 45 patients and no change was seen in 44 and aggravation was observed in 37.
3) The best results were obtained in insulin-treated group than diet or oral hypoglycemic drugs.
